DMCA Notice and Takedown Process

Status note: Honey Motion LLC has not yet registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office's online Designated Agent Directory. That registration is a separate, required step for full DMCA safe-harbor protection under 17 U.S.C. §512(c), in addition to this page. We are publishing this process in good faith while that registration is completed, but you should know it is not done yet.

What operators upload

HM Camera™ lets event operators upload their own logos, photo templates, backdrops, and props to brand their events. Operators are responsible for having the right to use everything they upload, as set out in our Terms of Use. Honey Motion LLC takes copyright infringement claims about uploaded material seriously and will respond to properly submitted notices.

How to submit a takedown notice

If you believe material uploaded to HM Camera infringes your copyright, send a written notice to Contact form with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be a valid notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), include all of the following:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, the event, gallery, or template it appears in).
Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

A notice missing any of these elements may not be actionable, and we may ask you to resubmit it complete.

What happens next

We review complete notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the operator who uploaded it. If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your identification, the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake or misidentification, your consent to local federal court jurisdiction, and your signature; we will forward it to the original notifier as the law requires.

Reporting something other than copyright

This page covers copyright specifically. If you see content on HM Camera that is illegal or shouldn't be there for another reason, including anything involving a minor that looks wrong, contact us right away through the Contact form with the subject line "Report Content". Anyone can report, whether or not you use HM Camera yourself. We review every report, and where the law requires it, we report illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
